Providing longer high-bright life at low power and lower internal temperature levels, the displays' backlighting lasts up to 100,000 hours, more than twice as long as competing solutions. AmbientNAV Alpha monitors with LED backlighting have a maximum brightness of over 1200 nits and can be dimmed to as low as 0.5 nits allowing boaters to smoothly transition between full brightness and true black.
